Carelon Payments Are Now on Zelis. PaySpan Is Retired.

The cutover happened today. Three situations:

Already on ZAPP Edge (the paid, multi-payer version) with another payer. Nothing to do. Log in to Zelis and your Carelon payments and remittances are there.
On the free ZAPP with another payer. You still have to register with Carelon separately through the Carelon ePayment Center. The free version is per payer.
Not on Zelis at all. Register through the Carelon ePayment Center today. You will need your TIN or EIN, corporate name and principal, and bank routing and account numbers. A registration code comes by email, and bank validation can take up to six business days, so expect at least one paper check in the meantime.
